“She was the rock in a world that was crumbling” – Abbi Glines, Fallen Too Far

Blaire Wynn is only nineteen and has already has experienced more heartache and disappointment then the average person. When her mother passes away she has no one else left except the father who left and abandoned her family in a time of need. So Blaire packs up her old beat up truck and the little belongings she has left and heads to see her father. When she arrives at the mansion her father now calls home she discovers that yet again her father abandoned her and left the country with his new wife.

Blaire discovers that she has a stepbrother, Rush, who seemingly is annoyed with her presence and wants nothing to do with her. Despite the initial meeting Rush shows Blaire a little mercy and allows her to stay at his house, with the hopes that she will get a job and save money to move out on her own. After all he doesn’t want her to sponge off his money like her father does. As time goes on Blaire starts to have feelings for Rush, but his sister Nan makes life hard for her.

Blaire ends up getting a job at a posh country club and comes to the realization that she just does not fit into this world that Rush lives in, but for some reason she just can’t stop thinking about him.

Rush is the womanizing son of a famous rock star. He tries his hardest to stay away from Blaire, but there is just something that won’t let him stay away. In the end the fall head over heels in love with each other, but Rush’s family secrets become too much for Blaire to handle.

What do you do when the one you love, is also the one who has caused you the most pain?

I adore this author and highly recommend her to everyone! Abbi Glines has struck gold again with this book and it is probably one of my favorite books by her, and that is saying a lot. This book will make you laugh, cry and get angry enough to throw your kindle against a wall. I give it a big fat 5 stars. This book is followed by Never Too Far.
