Daisy is now stuck on a crowded tour bus with six men when her plans start blowing up in her face. Things are not what they seem and nothing is making sense. Landon is pushing her away and Grayson is pulling her close. Daisy feels pulled to Grayson which doesn’t go unnoticed by him. Amused and unable to control himself around her Gray decides to hit on her the first moment he sees her. Gray’s new obsession is Daisy, who he deems his own little Widlflower even after he finds out she is to be his sister-in-law. Whatever it is about her he can’t help himself. He is desperate just to be near her.

***This book is not a normal romance. Things happen fast and with no*** regret. Rockers and all. There are M/F scenes of course but there is M/F/M, hints of M/F/F, possibly a little M/M and plenty of vibrator discussion.

~ Our Review ~
5 Star Review by Guest Reviewer Cybill

Holy plot twist, Batman!
There are so many great things about this book, that I am not sure where to begin! There is love, sex, deceit, rock & roll and BACON! Daisy Shayne has a plan for her life and she intends to follow it.  Graduate high school, go to college, get a job, get engaged, have kids with the white picket fence. She is well on her way to checking off that list. She agrees to spend six months on tour with her fiancé Landon who is assisting his brother, Grayson's band; Shaft. What could be better than cutting lose and spending quality time with Landon before starting their life together?

Grayson Cole is tattooed, pierced, guitar playing hot rock god! Black hair and steel grey eyes, he can have any woman he wants. Letting his brother and his fiancé work with them on the up coming tour will be great, and extra set of hands. When he see's a woman he has to have sitting by herself. He wants her and he will have her! But she belongs to his brother. There is enough heat between these two to start a fire! Will Grayson be able to stay away from the one thing he wants?

Landon Cole is the perfect fiancé. Sweet and caring everything Daisy needs.  Something has changed with Landon since the tour started, Daisy just needs to figure out whats going on. Will her plan fly out the window?

The supporting characters are awesome. There is a story in a story in another story. You never know where it will twist next. I loved it. Just when you think you know where the story will go it takes a twists you didn't see coming. I can't wait for Aiden and Camaron's story next.

~ Excerpt ~

Introduction
Daisy’s fall

How did this happen to me? Just months ago I was in a loving, committed relationship with a man who I believed adored me. Nothing was standing in our way of being married and having the white picket fence, babies and all the happiness I could stand. Now I sit here on the edge of a bed in a shitty tour bus crying into my hands while a dozen little white sticks lie all over the floor laughing at me proving that I am a total fuck up.
The diamond on my hand does nothing but make me angry as it glistens, wet with my tears. I’ve screwed everything up. I let myself believe for a while that I could have a happy ever after. I let myself think that I was worthy of something as precious as love. Instead, I have ruined at least four lives in the ashes of my monumental lapse of rational thinking.

I always think things through. Daisy Shayne never jumps without looking where she would land. I had a plan. I mean literally, I write the shit down and check it off as I complete it. I was nothing if not meticulous in my calculating of my life this far.

My parents planned nothing. I watched them constantly bailing water from the boat, borrowing from Peter to pay Paul and getting nowhere in life because of not having a plan. Well I had a plan damn it! Now as I look at my list all I want to do is jump from my boat and let myself drown. It would be so much easier than to face what is coming when those bus doors open and my life comes to an end. There is no hiding this. There is no fixing the situation. It’s going to destroy everyone involved, including myself in the process…

Wait! I am getting too far ahead of myself. You need for me to start from the beginning to get the full picture here. You need to know everything and then you will understand.

~ Excerpt ~

Finally giving up on sleep, she climbed from bed and gathered her clothes to take into the bathroom for a long hot shower, hopeful the hot water would dislodge the myriad of inappropriate thoughts that had started to march through her sleep-deprived brain.
Star knew Shane was too young for her. He'd barely begun to live his life and in her thirty years she'd already lived enough for both of them combined. There was an undeniable attraction, she couldn't dispute that. Holding him, comforting him, as she had just a few short hours ago left her craving more of his touch. She gritted her teeth and turned up the water temperature as she scrubbed her body. "Why is it the men I'm attracted to are always wrong for me? For once, why can't I like the nerdy, science geek with a big brain instead of a big…ego," she huffed. After her shower, she wiped the fog from the mirror and studied the lines in her face. Time had not been kind to her, especially the time spent with Derek. She smoothed the skin around her eyes, suddenly wondering how much a face-lift would set her back. A more close-up inspection advised her that more than a couple new gray hairs had sprouted, seemingly overnight, as well. "Are you going to be much longer?" Shane's muffled voice asked from the other side of the bathroom door causing her to jump. "Just a few more minutes, sorry," she answered. She hurriedly dried off and scrambled into her clothes. When she opened the door, he sat on the floor facing her, his back against the wall. He beamed mischievously up at her, and something warm pooled inside of her. She smiled back and said, "I guess I kind of lost track of time." "No worries. As long as there's hot water left, I don't mind." He held his hand out to her. "Help me up, Blue," he asked. She tugged him to his feet and he seemed reluctant to let go of her hand. He gave her fingers a quick squeeze. Holy hell I'm melting here. She thought. The tips of her ears started to burn and she withdrew her hand from his. "All yours," she whispered and turned to go to her room. She couldn't be sure, it may have been her overactive imagination, or wishful thinking, but she could have sworn she heard him say "I wish," before he disappeared into the bathroom.
Star fanned herself and sat down on the corner of her bed. If he had remembered having the nightmare, or her rocking him back to sleep afterwards, it wasn't evident in the tundra-melting smile he'd given her. She wasn't sure how she felt about that. Was she disappointed that he hadn't remembered, or relieved?

3.5 Star Review

This book was a little slow paced for me.  It had parts that were really good and held my attention and other parts I was putting book down to do other things.

Fran has had a rough life.  She has had so much pain and heartache that she has built up a wall around her heart.  She doesn't do relationships because they end badly.  Though she is not so sure about that anymore after meeting Matt.  She can't deny her feelings for him.  She wants him and wants to live in the moment.  Can she open up and live in the moment?  Or will she run?

Matt has lost both his mom and sister to cancer. He threw himself into work.  He grew up fast to help take care of his brother and sister.  They needed him then his sister got sick and he helped her.
He doesn't realize his life isn't perfect until Fran barges into it.  She challenges him and doesn't let him get away with stupid shit.  Will he be the man to knock down her walls?  Or will they both run away?

This book had some really good moments and some slow moments.  I have to give this book 3,5 stars because of that.  I recommend you read it though.  You may LOVE it!!

Kaylie knows what loss feels like and doesn't want to take a chance on love. She puts up walls to keep her heart protected from experiencing that kind of pain again.
What happens when a guy who refuses to lose out again meets a girl who resists him as much as she can? Will Jackson be able to hit the wall Kaylie has put up and knock it down?

~ Excerpt ~

“What the fuck?!” I heard as the door was thrown open. My jaw dropped at the sight of Jackson Silver in Sasha’s room. I never would have thought he had it in him to care enough about any woman to get into a shouting match with her the way he blew through all the girls on campus, except maybe his sister and her best friend. Not that I didn’t totally get why so many girls went crazy over him with his tousled blond hair, wicked blue eyes and insanely hot body. But he was the epitome of love ‘em and leave ‘em, never spending more than a few nights with the same one.
“Ummmm…” I stuttered in response.
“You don’t want to get in the middle of this, little girl,” he growled at me.
I glanced at Sasha, who was standing behind him with tears streaking down her cheeks. She was usually so perfectly put-together, but she looked a total wreck right now with her hair mussed up and mascara smudged everywhere. She wasn’t my favorite person in the world, but it seemed like she could use a little bit of help right about now.

~ Review ~
5 Star Review

This book was amazing.  I did not want to put it down.  I HAD to know what was going to happen. It was like I need air to breathe.

Shannon has been struggling the last couple years.  Ever since her husband Greg's accident that caused his amnesia.  He doesn't remember her or any of their life.  She is struggling with him because he has turned to drinking and woman to deal with it.  She stays with him because her wedding vows.  In sickness and in health.  But when her high school sweetheart Triston, shows up she is tempted to hook up with him.  Will her husband stop his cheating ways?  Will she finally leave him and move on with her life?

Greg is happy to have amnesia.  His wife lets him do whatever he wants.  He loves the woman and practically sleeps with anyone that gives him the go ahead.  He doesn't care that he is hurting her.  He wants to keep her, but live a bachelor life.  Will he lose Shannon for good?  Will he care?

Triston has always regretted his and Shannon's breakup.  He wants to find some closure so maybe he can move on with his life and find love again.  Though he gets more than he bargained for .  He still wants Shannon and wants to protect her.  He can't leave her when she needs someone.  He doesn't understand how she can stand by while her husband flaunts woman in front of her.  He wants to help her find the woman she use to be.  Will he get a second chance at love with her?  Will he finally move on with the closure he needed?

This book is about love, betrayal and moving on.  I wanted to strangle Shannon at times, but I found myself trying to put myself in her shoes and I don't know what I would have done.  I don't think that we really know how we would handle something till we have too.  This is a must read book and will definitely  be on my top reads of 2014!!!  Well done R.M. Alexander!

~ Excerpt ~

She reached toward his hand, her heart shuddering as he flinched away. “Greg, Greg, come on.” She sidled up next to him, pressing his hand, still tight around the bottleneck, gently downward and ignoring his glare. No doubt he resented the intrusion. It didn’t matter. He’d come to the only sanctuary she had, allowing him to ruin it was not an option. “How about you come rest in one of the guest rooms? I have a vacancy. You can watch some TV, maybe get some sleep.” She kept her other hand rested on one of his fading biceps, the fingers feeling alien against a memory of gym-toned masculinity.

Greg snatched his arm from reach, defiance hardening the charcoal in his eyes, his voice a snarl. “I don’t want to sleep. I want to party.” He grinned, pushing against her weaker hold to raise the bottle as he surveyed the room. His voice bellowed once again. “Where’s a pretty date wanting some great entertainment? I’ve got it right here.” He gestured towards his groin, bellowing laughter.

The words and gesture cut hard against her. With eyes closed, she found her center and whispered words more damaging to her sanity than his feral actions. “The entertainment will begin later. First, you should lie down. You’ll want to be at your best for the party tonight, won’t you?”

Novel – 40K word count – Paranormal / Witches/ Shifter Romance

~ Our Review ~
4.5 Star Review by Guest Reviewer Cybill

This is such an exciting book. Margaret is a shifter wolf, she has a good job and a great family. She has had a crush on her friend's brother forever but when she turned 25 she realized he wasn't her mate. Attending Chase and Sam's wedding she meets Scott O'Hearn.

Scott is 7 feet of solid man with chocolate brown eyes, dimples, and hotness! He's perfect! Except for the small fact that he is a BEAR! Proof that we don't get to pick out mates, fate picks us. Dealing with finding a mate isn't the only problem that this couple will face. Tragedy will follow.

What happens when a mate is killed in an arcane ritual and the governing body is to blame? The inner beast will consume you. Reneta Damakis has gone insane, and her wolf has taken over, seeking vengeance.

Clans will clash, people will die, war is consuming. Will the wolf pack accept a bear as Margaret's mate? Reneta must get control of her wolf, the whole underworld community will pay if she doesn't.

This is another short read in the series, but it is packed from the start with suspense. I enjoyed the first book but this one opened the shifter world so much further. I look forward to reading the third book.

His focus is tested when he finds out the beautiful but sad redhead, Sarah McLain, is his trainee. The connection he feels to her is strong but not magickal, and his wolf claims it foolish to listen to his human instincts. Can Chris heal her broken heart in time, or will he lose the woman he knows is perfect for him.

4.5 Star Review by Guest Reviewer Cybill

This is the third installment in the Vegas Mates series and it does not disappoint. Sarah McLain is in a pit of despair. Six months ago she lost her fiancé to a violent animal attack, sending her back home to Vegas to stay with her parents. Now she is sitting in the audience for the wedding of her good friend Margaret as she marries Scott, reeling from her pain. She is plagued by nightmares and doesn't understand why.

Chris Michaels has been chasing Nicole Demakis for years, when she turns 25 he realizes she's not his intended mate. He meets Sarah, he feels a connection. She doesn't know who or what she is, can she be his mate?

Reneta Demakis is on a one-woman vengeance filled killing spree. Systematically hunting down all who the Council deems unworthy. Sarah is a latent wolf, meaning she is only half wolf. The wolf must be brought forth before Reneta can get to her. The pack must protect and change as many

When Sarah's wolf is brought to the surface will Chris be her mate? Things continue to spiral out of control and the war is just beginning. With a lot of the key members dead, will the North American supernaturals prevail?

I am usually not a fan of short books, but this series has me intrigued. I am anticipating who will mate next, what type of shifter they will be, and how this war will play out. Will Reneta ever get control of her wolf, or will it be the end of her whats left of her family?
