5 Stars

This book leaves you wanting more. You won't be able to get enough of Clay!!  Julia is a little annoying, but maybe I would push and pull the same way she is if I was in her position.
Julia can't run from the trouble she is in.  She is keeping it hidden from everyone in her life because she doesn't want to drag them in.  The only problem is she is losing the people she wants in her life.   She wants to have a life that is dictated by Charlie, but how can she have Clay when Charlie will hurt him?  Can she balance out her secret and protect Clay?  Or does she lose Clay?
Clay wants Julia even though she is hot and cold.  After she ran from him after their steamy weekend he knows she is hiding something, but doesn't know what.  He isn't sure he can find out because he doesn't want a repeat of what his ex did to him.  Can he find out what Julia is hiding?  Can he except what she is hiding?
This book is really good and it will leave you with some questions.  Though we do get some big ones answered in this book.  There are still some we need.  I cannot wait to read the conclusion to Julia and Clay!!

“You care. You can pretend you don’t, but you do. ~ Excerpt ~

So when life couldn’t seem to get more complicated, life threw Rachel Sanders at me. Before that night seven weeks ago, I didn’t think much about Rachel. I just knew her twin brother was best friends with Channing Southerland.
When I say I didn’t think much, I mean I didn’t give any thought as to talk to Rachel or be around Rachel. I’ve always thought the chick was hot. Long brown hair, red and blonde highlights shining in the sun. Amazing brown eyes with flecks of gold and green. They look like they hold all her secrets, but you have no hope of finding out any of them. Then you have that body. Great tits that are followed by a flat stomach and wide hips. Plus her incredible ass, which I admit, I have checked out a million times. Then you have those legs, legs that go on for miles. I can’t help but think of those legs wrapped around me. When I say me, I mean around my hips, or around my face. It doesn’t matter, I’m not a picky guy.
I even find the way she dresses sexy. Annabella dresses like an uptight rich bitch. Her fashion choices are the most expensive and up to date. Rachel, you can tell, dresses like she has money, but it’s not in your face. Plus, she adds in a lot of skulls and pink. I find this a weird combination but it works for her.
Rachel’s voice….mmmm. The way her soft words flow through my ears and around my head, it’s like talking to an angel. Wes says she can sing, and I don’t doubt that for a minute. I also like the way Rachel’s voice sounds when she’s getting off. Mews, moans, whimpers, it doesn’t matter. I’ve never taken someone like her to my bed. Someone who knows what they want and isn’t afraid to ask for it. Everyone else is a cold bitch or way too submissive. They don’t even compare.
“Court…” Rachel would whisper against my neck. No one has ever called me by my first name with me liking it. Rachel, I’ve found, could do and say a lot of things around me I don’t usually like and BAM! I like everything that comes out of her mouth. She’s fucking funny and dorky. She talked the whole night except when I was inside her or until she finally fell asleep. And then I did something else I never do; I let her sleep there.
I’m not stupid. I knew Rachel wouldn’t stay.

5 Stars

OMG this book was better than I was expecting.  I was thinking it was going to be a lot of sex.  But it actually had a really great story line and I feel in love with all the guys.  It was a good read with some sad parts.

Kayla lives a polyandry life style. She keeps it a secret from her professional life.  She loves all four of her "husbands".  She knows that they are not married legally, but she had a commitment cereomony with them all.  Harm, Lee, Luke and JJ all bring something different to the table.  She can't imagine losing any of them.  She is happy that they all are accepting of this lifestyle.  She never wanted a relationship with one man until Trey walked into her life.  She wouldn't give up her lifestyle and he couldn't accept it.  What will they do?  Does Trey become the fifth "husband"? Or does she leave the others and start a life with Trey?

This book took a lot of turns I was not anticipating. There were a few parts that had me on the verge of tears.  I cannot wait for the next book.  This book blew my mind and had me on the edge my seat in parts and had me wanting to knock some sense into these guys.

~ Excerpt ~

Pretending to be a reporter getting the inside scoop on Dr. Kayla Saradon’s life was turning out to be very enjoyable for Trey. They had finished the meal. Kayla declined dessert, so Trey ordered coffees, reluctant for their time together to end and sure it would when they left the restaurant.
They had settled into a silence that Trey was unsure how to break. He was thankful when Kayla took the initiative.
“Why don’t we continue the interview in your room, Devon? We could talk more privately there.”
He was both surprised and pleased as he met those extraordinary green eyes.
“That would be perfect. I would have suggested that, but I didn’t know what you would think. I wouldn’t want to compromise your—ah—reputation.”
Kayla laughed. “I don’t care what people say, Devon. I deal in truths, not innuendoes or rumors, and I have no patience with those who cater to that kind of subtle slander.”
Damn, she’s a woman after my own heart! “Good to know.”
He paid the check and they left the dining area. Kayla excused herself briefly in the lobby, walking away to make a quick phone call before rejoining him at the elevator.
Once in his room, Kayla immediately kicked off her shoes. She curled comfortably on the two-seater couch while Trey watched in utter fascination.
“Now, why don't you sit down beside me and get comfortable, as well, and let’s really talk,” she suggested, patting the place next to her.
Trey sat down but was far from feeling comfortable. Having her this close, he couldn’t help but visualize her on the bed, naked and inviting. He hoped his thoughts, growing warmer by the minute as he inhaled her enticing flowery perfume, wouldn’t become an embarrassment he couldn’t hide.
“I take it you had the proverbial perfect childhood, Kayla. All the luxuries, the right schools and so forth?”
“It wasn’t perfect by any means. But yes, I did have the opportunity for the best education. So it was probably better than a lot of others. My parents expected me to do well in school, and I did because I didn’t want to disappoint them. And actually I always strove for academic perfection for my own sake, as well, because I wanted to accomplish things and knew the proper education was the way to do that.”
Trey inwardly flinched, remembering those years when he had determinedly stayed in school, regardless of his hand-me-down clothes and the way some of the kids made fun of him in his younger years and then later, regardless of the times he had to go with his back and butt raw and sore from a beating. He had, however, managed to live through it and get that diploma that he, too, had felt was important, before he left to join the army.
“Tell me about your parents,” he said, to cover up his own bitter memory flashes.
“They were very socially conscious and expected me to be ever aware of how my actions reflected on our good name. If I could fault them for anything, it might be their overzealous desire for me to walk a social-acceptance line. That’s hard to do when you really want to ‘run with the bulls,’ if you know what I mean. But I was a dutiful daughter.
“I believe I read that they were killed in a car accident.”
“That’s right. Right after I graduated from university. You know, Devon, I’ve noticed that you aren’t taking notes. Do you have a photographic memory, by any chance?
Trey silently cursed his lack of judgment and decided to add yet another lie to the pile. “Yes, I do.”
“How interesting. We share that trait and I know that, at times, it becomes a nuisance, doesn’t it?”
Add to the pile! “So you are blessed, or maybe I should say cursed, the same way? And yes, it does sometimes.”
“From experience I know that those of us with photographic memories usually have total recall, yet in some instances not. So, tell me, do you recall every detail of practically everything said to you?”
God, it’s getting deep. “Not really. I’ve learned to block some things out, as I’m sure you have. But I assure you I will recall your every word, Kayla,” he said it in a soft, inviting tone that he hoped said more than just those words. He held her eyes as he smiled. She returned the smile and for a minute, they didn’t speak. There was no need for words. That electric current was vibrating between them again.      Feeling drawn to her, overwhelmed by her nearness, Trey leaned toward her, his eyes holding fast on those inviting, luscious lips. Simultaneously, she leaned toward him and their lips touched, lightly at first. Then he pulled her closer, deepening the kiss, his tongue seeking hers, delving into her open and receptive mouth.
When their lips parted, he expected her to pull away, but she didn’t. He stood, pulling her up, and melded her against his rock-hard shaft wedged against her yielding body.
“I know this is unprofessional, but damn, Kayla, I want you.”
“I can tell,” she said bluntly, her green eyes alight with a mischievous gleam as her hand reached to touch him, to fondle and explore his turgid length.
“My heavens, you’re impressive.” she chuckled.
“God! You know what you’re doing to me? But since I’m not sure what I’m doing to you, I guess the ball is in your hands,” he said as he kissed her again, hungrily and imploringly.
Trey could feel her trembling, with what he hoped was desire as they parted.      “You could write a very revealing story about me if I gave in to what I really wanted to do right now. You don’t write exposés, do you, Devon?”
“Story be damned! This is a private time, between the two of us and nobody else,” he assured her.
“So what happens from here on is off the record?”
“Absolutely.”

This book was an amazing ending to this trilogy.  I was a little nervous reading this because I loved book one and wasn't fond of book two.  This book blew me away and I couldn't stop reading it.

Carrie and Finn are dealing with him almost dying.  Carrie wants to be there for Finn, but he doesn't want anyone.  He wants to do it all alone.  Just when he is starting to handle life better he is thrown another curve ball that sends him in a downward spiral of self destruction.  Can he save himself before he loses everything?  Or will he lose it all?

Carrie never thought Finn would change after going to war.  But after almost losing his life he is different.  She only wants to help him, but he won't let her.  He is constantly pushing her away.  She doesn't know how to help, but be there for him and love him.  But once things are said in anger will she be able to stay?  Or will she leave and move on?

This is an emotional read.  It really opens your eyes to what people with spouse/loved ones in the military go through.  Not only does the soldier suffer, but the family does as well.  I am so happy I gave book three a try. This was a very well written book Jen!!  Cannot wait to read more of your books.

OMG I loved this book.  Cannot wait for more in this series.  This book had it all.  Drama, suspense, chemistry, hate, love, deceit, murder and sex.  It will keep you guessing what is happening and what caused the big fall out a few years ago.

Olivia has been running from her life.  She has always wanted to get out of the motorcycle gang.  She and her childhood boyfriend Daemon planned to run away together until it all went to hell and he stayed.  She felt betrayed and left it all.  When she is thrown back into the life and being around Daemon will she stay or run again?  Can she except how the gang works?

Daemon has always wanted Olivia and hated how she ran.  He knows they had plans to run away from this life, but after everything that went down five years ago, he couldn't leave.  He knows he broke her by leaving, but would do it again.  He needs her to come back, but doesn't want to push her back into the life.  Can he get her back in his life, his bed, the back of his bike and his house?  Or will she run to the club and seek help from others?

This book is amazing and I cannot wait to read more.  I cannot wait to find out more about Faith, Ryker, Jules, Jaden and my favorite Finn!!  I hope that they all get books!!

~ Excerpt ~

“C’mon, Liv,” I said, walking to her and standing right in between her legs. I looked down at her in amusement. She was almost right where I wanted her. “You’re too jaded for the straight life.”
I nudged the inside of her knee open a little wider with mine. She sat straight up and glared at me, but the heat was missing in her eyes.
“Well, whose fault is that?”
I wanted to ram my head into a wall. I was not having this same conversation again. “Already told you I wouldn’t change a thing about what I did, Liv. You might as well get over it now.”
“What if I can’t?”
I grinned and leaned over her so far she fell straight back onto my bed. Her hair fell from the ugly ass bird’s nest into a pile on my messy sheets. Best sight ever. “Can’t or won’t?”
She smirked and I leaned closer, my lips just inches from hers.
“You will. Because right now, Liv, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. And you’ve always known it. Now, you’re just done fightin’ it. And God, I want you here.”
My lips brushed against hers and she sucked in a quick breath. I wanted to push it but didn’t want to push her away. Not when I finally had her right where I wanted her. My hands on either side of her head, my body leaning over hers. All I’d have to do is crawl onto the bed, bend my knees and I could enter nirvana in seconds. I knew by her pulse and her breathing she was turned on.
She wanted me just as much as I wanted her. I could feel it seeping from her skin directly into mine. I flicked my tongue out, tasting her soft lips and when she moaned, I pressed against her further. My resolve to stay away completely flying out the damn window.
But then she stopped me. I felt her lips curl into a smile against mine, and I opened my eyes, staring directly into hers.
“What?”
“I pulled a gun on Finn today. And my dad.”
My head dropped to her neck as the laughter poured out of me. She really was coming back. I loved it. Fucking loved her own personal brand of craziness. The girl who wouldn’t kill a spider but had no problems pulling a gun on two men that scared the shit out of almost everyone they met. She had guts. “You’re fuckin’ crazy, princess.”
