Love Me Back will have you holding your breath in anticipation. Never knowing what is going to happen from one page to the next. This is not your average love triangle. This is the story of a girl whose heart is being pulled in two different directions. The twist is the boys doing the pulling are….brothers!
Maddy and Trent have always been best friends. The only problem is Maddy has always wanted more.  For as long as she can remember she has been in love with Trent. She just knew they would always be together. So when their relationship finally turns into a romance Maddy falls head over heels fast. The only problem is Trent flip flops and strings Maddy along. They constantly are going from friends to lovers and then back to friends again. The cycle just continues over and over.  That is until life gets complicated, and Trent decides to bail on Maddy when she needs him most.

Gabe, Trent’s brother, steps up and befriends Maddy. He will be there to support her when his brother cannot. Gabe and Maddy started to develop a friendship and pretty soon the lines started to get blurred. Gabe knows that no matter what happens Maddy will always choose Trent. So he backs away, but it is already too late. Feelings have already been established.

What do you do when your heart is torn in two? Do you go for the one who you always picture yourself with or do you go with the one who you can’t seem to live without? Fate is a funny thing. Sometimes life is already planned out for you; you just have to open your eyes and your heart to accept it.

Love Me Back kept me intrigued the whole way through. This book had the power to draw you in and not let you go until the very last sentence of the book. I loved the relationships and friendships throughout this book, whether it was the major or minor characters or the bigs and the littles.

I normally do not like books that flash from past to present, but Michelle Lynn made it work. The flow was perfect. The storyline was perfect. Everything was perfect. Even though there was an epilogue, I would still love a follow up book! This book was amazing and it will definitely be added to my top books of 2013.

~ About The Author ~

Michelle Lynn has always been a reader, but her passion has become a full-blown addiction since her husband bought her a Kindle for Mother's Day. She's pretty sure that he regrets this on a regular basis. Especially when she has it propped up next to the stove while she cooks, which often results in a burnt dinner. Or when he loses sleep because the glow from the screen wakes him up when he rolls over at three in the morning. He does agree, however, that she uses this gift more than any other he has ever gotten her. She joking counters that, because of some of the steamy novels she reads, he also benefits more from this gift than any other he has gotten her. ;)

Michelle moved around the Midwest most of her life, transferring from school to school before settling down in the outskirts of Chicago ten years ago, where she now resides with her husband and two kids. She developed a love of reading at a young age, which helped lay the foundation for her passion to write. With the encouragement of her family, she finally sat down and wrote one of the many stories that have been floating around in her head. When she isn’t reading or writing, she can be found playing with her kids, talking to her mom on the phone, or hanging out with her family and friends. But after chasing around twin preschoolers all day, she always cherishes her relaxation time after putting the kids to bed.

Blog Tour: Landslide by N.J. Cole

~ Synopsis ~

Senator Maxwell Joseph has it all—money, power and good looks—the trifecta when it comes to attracting the ladies. He even has women willing to be tied up, spanked and fucked all while calling him Daddy, fulfilling his secret fantasy. On the night of his thirty-fifth birthday he finds a goddess waiting for him in his hotel room. She is beautiful, sexy and very willing, yet the fruit she offers is very forbidden. Not only at nineteen is she barely legal, but she is the daughter of his best friend and political advisor.

Mackenzie Wade has had a crush on the senator for years, and when an overheard phone call affords her the opportunity she needs to make her fantasies a reality, she jumps on the chance offering herself as a birthday gift.

Throwing caution to the wind, Max gives in to temptation and gives them both what they have been yearning for—a night filled with ropes, floggers and toe-curling sex. Although satiated, one night of passion wasn’t enough for either of them, and they began a clandestine affair.

The solid ground on which he’d built his career now began to shift as his wants and dreams for the future began to change. In what he can only describe as a landslide, Max hold on tight to the only thing that he can, Kenzie, and goes on the ride of his life, knowing all along that in the end, he may have to make a choice between the woman of his fantasies and his career.

~ Our Review ~
4 Star Review by Heather

This book is a fast steamy read.  There is a lot of sex in it :)
Mackenzie is a nineteen year old who is attracted to the thirty five year old senator, Max.  She knows that he will never look at her that way, but it hasn't stopped her feelings for him.  She overhears a conversation between her dad and Max and sets a plan into motion to get him to notice her.  Can she get him to notice her without losing her heart?

Max is a Senator that has to hide his sexual exploits. He likes to tie women up and spank them.  He knows it can ruin his career so he only hires the best.  So on his birthday he is shocked to find Mackenzie in his hotel suite.  Will he finally succumb to her?  Will he fall in love with her?  Can they survive a scandal?
This book is really good.  I liked how it had a whole lot of sex, but it also had a good plot to go along with it.  I was a little disappointed with the ending though.  I really think it needed an epilogue.

~ Interview With Max & Mackenzie ~

Hello Senator Joseph and Mackenzie!  May I call you Max and Kenzie?
Kenzie: Sure, any friend of NJ’s is a friend of mine

I am so excited to sit down and chat with the two of you.
Senator when did you first start to notice Mackenzie?
Max: Honestly, I didn’t notice her until the night of my birthday party. As much as it might sound like I’m into little girls, I wouldn’t have been interested in her when she was an actual little girl. But that night, when she was in my hotel room, oh the things I wanted to do to her.

Mackenzie I know that you have noticed the Senator for a long time.  Why did you take your own virginity instead of finding a guy to help you?
Kenzie: Well, there really wasn’t a guy I was interested in other than Max. I hadn’t really thought of it as taking my virginity at the time. I just wanted to feel good. It really didn’t hurt and there was only the smallest amount of blood.

What was your favorite part about your trip to Paris?
Max: Go ahead honey.

Kenzie: Well, I loved the kiss at the top of the Eifel Tower. It was so passionate. I knew then that I loved him so much.

Max: I just loved that I could be myself with her. Walking around the streets holding her hand was amazing.
Kenzie: That was not your favorite part and you know it.
Max: *grins* Well, maybe I did like that fact that we made love without a condom. It was the best feeling ever.
If you could take Mackenzie anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Max: I’d really like to take her to Amsterdam. There are some BDSM clubs there that I know she would love. *wink*
How many kids do you want?  Do you have any names you want?

Kenzie: We haven’t really talked about kids. It’s uh, something we need to sort out.
Max: I’d like kids though.

Kenzie: *smiles* Me too.
This is for Max!  I know that if I was Kenzie I would want to beat the shit outta Tiffany.  If you could, would you have dealt with Tiffany differently when she threatened you?
Max: Had I known Kenzie was willing to go public with our relationship or if I’d had more time to process it, I’d have told Tiffany to go fuck herself when she showed me the pics.
Do you have a short engagement  or long engagement in mind?
Big wedding or small wedding? Eloping?
Max: I’d love to stop in Vegas on the way home and make this official, but that’s not fair to Kenzie, and my mother would kill me. I have a feeling that it will be a big wedding and that takes time.
Is there anything about the other you would change?

Kenzie: I wouldn’t change a thing.
Max: Me either.
Kenzie do you head back to finish school or do you  stay and help with the campaign?

Kenzie: I’m going to finish school. My career is important to me, but I do plan on helping with the campaign where I can, and of course after I graduate in a few years.
What is one thing you wish you could change about yourself?
Kenzie: I’d like to be older.

Max: Funny, I’d like to be younger.
Do you continue on to the White House Senator Max?

Max: Time will tell on that one. I need to win this race for the Governor first. But honestly, if it’s not in the cards for me, as long as I have Kenzie, I’ll be fine.
I would love to thank you both for you time today.  It was a lot of fun getting to the both of you a little better.
Kenzie: It was nice getting to know you too.

5 Star Review by Heather

OMG! What  a great ending to this series.  I love how each chapter alternates POV's.
“I think you needed Adam to show you how much you still love Chris.”
Claire is trying to heal her broken heart.  She was always in love with Chris.  She set him free so he could pursue music.  He left and it broke her heart.  She hides her pregnancy and gives the baby, Abby, up for adaption.  She eventually moves on from Chris and meets a guy named Adam.  She falls in love with Adam only to have Chris come back into her life.  She needs to decide which man is the best for her.  Will she go with Chris, the guy who taught her how to live and love?  Or will she go with Adam, the guy who helped he heal her broken heart after losing Chris and Abby?
“It’s not our mistakes that define us.  It’s the lessons we learn that show our true character.”

Chris always loved Claire even when he was manwhoring it up and when she let him go.  His biggest regret was leaving without her.  He doesn't know how to feel about the fact that she hid her pregnancy from everyone.  He wished she would have called him to tell him, but knows she was trying to let him live his dream.  Will he make her see that she belongs with him?  That he is willing to give everything up to be with her?
“Thank you for treating me like the person I’m trying to be instead of the person I was.”
Adam was just as heartbroken as Claire was when they met.  His ex cheated on him and he got in trouble with the law for beating the guy up. He also wasn't sure of who was the father of the baby his ex, Lindsay, was carrying.  He pushed Claire away while he was in Hawaii. Can he make her see he is the man for her?  Or will he realize that he still loves his ex?
“You are more than my soul mate.  You are me.”
This book was ah-mazing!  It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.  Only because I thought my guy was going to get his heart crushed!  Cassia Leo did an amazing job making me fall in love with all the characters of this book.  Well done!!

5 Star Review by Heather

OMG I loved this story.  This story takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride.  It deals with PTSD and the heartache it causes.

"Even the strongest cry. A smart person told me that once."

Maddy is still hiding behind the walls she built after her parent's death.  All her family and friends complain that she is boring and isn't living her life. She uses the excuse she had to grow up too fast. She took over the family restaurant and looked out for her younger sister, Mila.  She goes out to a club one night to let loose and meets this hot, sexy guy. She decided to throw caution to the wind and go home with him.   Is this a big mistake?  Or will he be the guy to finally break down all her walls?

"You're a piece of me. A big piece of me. And when you're gone, I can't function right. I'm only half a person."

Gabe is just home from Afghanistan. He is suffering from PTSD, but doesn't want to get help.  He thinks it will make him look weak.  He tries to hide all his issues, but when he finally hurts the girl he loves will he finally get help?  Or will he leave her to protect her?

"Well, I'm sure you're fluent in asshole-speak."

This book truly was amazing.  It makes you really step back and think about all these Soldiers who are overseas fighting for us.  They risk a lot and then come home felling weak and alone.  This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster, but it is so worth it in the end.  Amazing job Courtney Cole!!!

~ Our Review ~
4 Star Review by Annie

I Breathe You is a tragically beautiful story of survival and learning how to accept the fate life hands you. It was a sweet romantic read.
One Minute Rhaney has everything she could dream of. She has found her one true love and now her band getting to go on tour with a famous band, but just like that it is all gone. After a horrible accident that has left her voiceless, Rhaney is left trying to figure out her life. Rhaney ends up moving away to a fixer upper by a lake and slowly learns how to deal with her emotions and pent up aggression.
Ian is used to everything turning to crap. His whole life has been one disappointment after another. Ian takes a construction job and meets Rhaney. He tries to stay away from her, but something keeps drawing him to her.

The characters and love story is what made this book. Rhaney was going through a rough time and she will have you rooting for her the whole time. PTSD is no joke. I liked how we saw a side of it that we rarely get to see. I loved how Ian was there for Rhaney. He didn’t run when things got bad, instead he handled them head on.
This book was somewhat PG 13, but sometimes you don’t need spicy sex scenes to make a story sexy. I really enjoyed reading this book and give it 4 stars.
