Review of Full Steam Ahead by Valerie Chase

~ Synopsis ~

Seven days aboard a luxury cruise.
The perfect getaway from it all.
At least, that’s what Georgia Cantwell is hoping for...

With her inbox filling with menacing emails, Georgia just wants to run away from her shattered life on her sorority's winter break cruise. What she doesn’t need is green-eyed Jace McLaren seeing through her tacked-on smile and stealing her breath away with each tantalizing kiss.

Growing up with a father in jail, Jace knows from experience that if you’re going through hell, there’s no way out but through. He has always steered away from girls like Georgia with her ice-queen attitude, but she’s in real trouble, and despite himself he pushes past her walls.

As much as Georgia tries to ignore it, Jace won’t let her pretend with him. But she can’t tell him the truth. Her past would ruin his trust, her family, her future—everything.

But out on the open ocean, there’s nowhere to hide. And when Georgia’s secrets come tumbling out, it might take more than Jace to get her through the storm.

4 Star Review

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast, fun read.

Georgia is running from life.  She keeps a secret from everyone and it is slowly killing her.  The one person she told left her.  So she is determined to keep it to herself to save herself the heartache.  So when things heat up with Jace she is determined to not tell him.  If her boyfriend of over a year left her because of her secret, Jace won't stick around.  Especially since it has only been days.
Will she open up to him?  Will he leave her alone?

Jace has never cared what people say about him.  He lets then say it and never corrects them.  His go is graduate from college and move on to med school.  He doesn't normally go for girls with baggage, but there is just something about Georgia that draws her to him. He wants to know why she is closed off.  He doesn't understand how her friends haven't noticed it when he has for months. He wants to get to know her, but can he live with her secret?  Or will it year them apart?

This is a great read.  I really liked the fun side and not having all the angst.  That gets old fast.  This is going to be a series, but each book will be about different characters!!

Reveiw of Sugar Daddy by Rie Warren

~ Synopsis ~

Shay Greer is pure GRITS—a Girl Raised In The South–but nowhere near a demure southern belle. She’s looking for a way out of her broken down marriage when she lands an unexpected job offer she really should refuse. Position? Mistress. Fringe Benefits? Of course. Fraternization with sexy CEO Reardon Boone? Required. Lured by the promise of intimacy missing from her failed marriage, Shay signs on. She’s barely survived a hellish year of heartbreak and needs a fresh start, but she gets more than she bargained for with lowcountry-boy-made-good Reardon Boone.

Bankrolling Shay into his bedroom, Reardon sticks by his tried and true rules: no-strings-attached seduction, no messy emotions, absolutely nothing resembling a relationship. This sassy, sultry woman fits the bill precisely…until she arouses more than his erotic appetite.

So desirable he sets hearts on fire in everyone from downtown debutantes to downhome mommas, Reardon is as irresistible as he is unattainable. Shay falls hard despite their unorthodox arrangement. Determined to discover what’s concealed beneath his Forbes 400 facade, she has no idea how close to home the truth will hit.

4.5 Star Review

This was a really good book. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. I was crying one minute and laughing the next.

Shay is living a lonely life. Her husband doesn't want her. He won't even touch her, he barely talks to her. She just wants to be loved and feel worthy. She decides she needs to get a job and applies for and PA job. She was shocked when he told her the job was for a mistress. She didn't know what to think. She is married, but he doesn't want her anymore. If this man, Reardon wants her why shouldn't she get her needs met? Will she break Palmer her husband? Or will she stay true to her marriage?

Palmer is struggling to deal with their issues. He feels like a failure and doesn't want to cause Shay anymore pain. Does he end up pushing her away? Or can he save their marriage?

Reardon is a man that had been deeply hurt. He will only take in Mistresses as lovers. That way he knows they know the rules. No love, no babies and no happily ever after. He just wasn't expecting Shay to make him want a relationship. She has changed him for the better. Can he give her what she needs and wants? Or is her love for Palmer too much?

This is am amazing story of heartache, loss and love. I am still heartbroken over some of the stuff these characters went through. I cannot wait for book two on Randsome and Solange!!!

Review and Giveaway: Adam, Enough Said (This Can't Be Happening #3) by Lynda LeeAnne

~ Synopsis ~
Our past was painful and a lot of mistakes were made, but that was then - this is now.

Mia wants a fight? I'll give her one.
She wants to leave me? I'll make her stay.
This is our future. She belongs to me.

Our past wasn't just painful, it was soul-shattering, and no amount of time will change that.
Adam wants a fight? Bring it.
He won't let me leave? I'll make him pay.
This is my future. I don't belong to him.

Follow Adam and Mia’s journey through the deliciously dysfunctional madness they like to call...marriage.

Author’s note: This is the third book in the This Can’t be Happening Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Author’s warning: Mature content, lots of cussing (as in, A LOT), a five-foot-three, redheaded, terror of a woman and a sexy, possessive, crazy, hot alpha cop.

5 Star Review by Heather
This book was amazing.  It is a book that I have been waiting for.  I was not disappointed with this book.  It left me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and hoping that there would be a happy ending.

“See what I mean, all of ‘em women, all of ‘em bitches and all of ‘em crazy.”

Mia had been suffering for the last six years.  She was madly in love with Adam, but he broke her heart so she left him.   She tried to divorce him, but he refused to sign the papers.  She tried to move on, but it was hard to find a man that she could love as deeply as Adam.   So when she got arrested  for assaulting her cousin,  and the officer realized she was married to Adam, the call was made.   She wanted to hate him for all the pain he caused her, but she still loved him.  Can she forgive him? Or is her pain to deep?

“I just want you.  All I’ve ever wanted was you.  I want my wife back.”

Adam has made many mistakes with Mia.  The biggest one was by not being there for her when she needed him the most and the second biggest was letting her go.  He went through a lot and didn't know how to deal with it. Instead of fighting for Mia, he tried to work on fixing himself.  Can he fix all the hurt he caused Mia?  Or will he finally lose her for good?

“Did she just call me sloppy seconds? Nobody’s ever called me sloppy seconds.  What the fuck?”

This book is a must read.  You really need to read the whole series.  This series will  take you on an emotional roller coaster.  They have some angst and you will love all the characters.  I really hope that there will be a book on Johnnie and Breena.

Review and Giveaway: Back To Life by Danielle Allen

~ Synopsis ~

Sahara Lee has spent the last ten years living with the guilt of a tragic accident and its aftermath. That night irrevocably changed the outgoing, fun-loving college freshman into an introverted, workaholic with no social life. Sahara isolates herself from everyone and everything that reminds her of home in an effort to forget what happened. Using art as a substitute for love, Sahara throws herself into music and art as a way to feel something other than the guilt that haunts her. She accepts her lonely existence as penance for the role she played in the accident. That is, until she meets Tyree Barker, the good looking entrepreneur with baggage of his own.

Blindsided by a legal loophole, Sahara is suddenly forced to confront the past she’s been running from. Juggling the guilty feelings of her past and the unexpected feelings of her present, Sahara’s future becomes complicated as she heads down a path of forgiveness, love, and heartbreak…and not in that particular order.

Back to Life reminds you that living and existing are two completely different ways to go through life. Grief will break you but guilt, guilt will destroy you. And once that happens, what can bring you back to life?

~ Our Review ~
5 Star Review by Natalie

Sahara is trying to get her life back together. Sahara Lee and Emily Mills are best friends. Their parents have been friends since college. So they grew up together and were like sisters. Sahara and Emily even went off to college together.

Emily was in college to be a teacher and Sahara was a pre-med student. After Sahara finished one of the hardest tests of the semester she needed to unwind and have fun. Emily on the other hand was ready to rest without the fun.

Sahara finally convinced Emily to go to the Spring Social that everyone was going to. Knowing Emanuel, Emily's brother, would be their DD if needed they had fun and let loose. She always looked forward to seeing Emanuel because they flirted with each other all the time. Everything was going good, until an accident changes their lives forever.

Ten years later, and Sahara is still hating herself and taking blame for what happened that night after the Spring Social. That one night at 19 years old reshaped everything she thought of herself and everything around her. Sahara moved away from all of her family and friends. She was freeing everyone from seeing her and being reminded of what she had done.

Sahara never made any connections with anyone she came in contact with. For her it was easier that way so she never had to talk about her past. Will she ever make a future for herself? Will she find love?

I absolutely LOVED this book. It reminded me of Taking Chances. This book made me feel every emotion I have. I would be laughing one moment and crying the next. Danielle did a great job writing this book and putting all the characters together. There is so much more to this book than my mini synopsis that is amazing. For a new author I can only imagine the absolute genius she will bring to paper once again. For me I think she will be up there with Molly Adams and Colleen Hoover. This book is definitely on my top five of fave books for sure!! If I could I'd give this book ten stars but I guess we'll have to settle for five ;)

Review: Trophy Husband by Lauren Blakely

~ Synopsis ~

Sometimes you can't help falling in love, even when you try to do the opposite...

Successful fashion blogger McKenna Bell has spent far too long protecting herself after the way her ex-fiancé left her at the altar for a college chick he met the night of his bachelor party. Loving again, trusting again, well, that's just not in the cards. Especially now that her ex is back in town with his new woman, demanding custody of McKenna's favorite creature in the whole world--her dog.

No effing way. McKenna's had enough of him, and she decides to even the score by finding her own hot young thing -- a Trophy Husband. Sure, she's only twenty-seven, but doesn't that make it even more fun -- and infuriating to her ex -- to pursue a younger man?

When she declares her intentions on her daily blog, her quest quickly skyrockets in popularity, and that's when Chris enters the picture, and he’s got all the assets. He's handsome, successful, and turns her inside out with a kiss to end all kisses, the kind that makes you feel like a shooting star.

But loving again could mean losing again, and it's so much easier to focus on getting even, isn't it? Unless, you just can't help falling in love. Which means McKenna will have to come face to face with what she really wants in life -- protecting her heart from hurt, or letting go of her fears of a new beginning.

~ Our Review ~
3.5 Star Review by Annie

What do you get when you mix a scorned woman and video blog? You get a quest for all woman that men aren’t the only ones who can get arm candy.
The day before McKenna was supposed to walk down the aisle with the guy she has been with for 9 years, she gets the surprise of a lifetime. A phone call calling off the wedding. Her fiancé ran off and got married to a younger girl he meet while celebrating his bachelor party. He destroyed her heart, but he didn’t stop there. Every time she turns around he is finding new ways to hurt her and torture her a little more.

So in order to show the world and Todd that woman can do the same thing that men do, McKenna devises a plan to find a trophy husband. Her friend and her set rules:  He can’t be older than twenty-three, he has to be smoking hot and have a rock hard body.  Little did she know the trophy husband search would take on a life of its own.
Everything is going great, until McKenna meets Chris.  Since the moment McKenna met Chris she cannot stop thinking and fantasizing about him. The only problem is Chris doesn’t meet the trophy husband guidelines.  Does McKenna find what she is looking for?

Trophy Husband is a fun light hearted romance that has a whole lot of sexual tension and fantasy. I loved the chemistry between McKenna and Chris. They have an undeniable attraction that made me squirm around in my seat.  This book had some slow parts, but overall was a great read.

Review: The Rocker That Holds Me by Terri Anne Browning

4 Star Review by Annie

Synopsis

Touring with four rockers is the thing of dreams…

At least that is what people tell me. To me those four rockers are my family. They have watched over me from the time I was five years old. Protecting me from my mother and her drunken, drug addict rages. When they made it big they still watched over me. And when my monster of a mother died they took over as my guardians.

In the six years since that happened I have watched over the four men that
mean everything to me. I take care of them just as they once took care of me. I handle all the dirty work behind the scenes of a rockers life. It isn’t always pretty. At times it came be damn near disgusting, especially when I have to get rid of their one night stands. Ugh!

Taking care of them doesn’t bother me though. I mean it’s not like I’m in love with one of them. That would be crazy. Falling for a rocker is NOT smart.

Okay, so I’m not smart. I love my guys, and one of them kind of holds my heart in his big old rocker hand. But I’m dealing. I’ve been able to keep it my little secret for years now.
I’m not, however, dealing with this bug that I seem to have caught. It scares the hell out of me. I hate doctors, but I’m suddenly more worried about finding out what is wrong with me than what the doctor might do to me.

When I get my test results back my life will never be the same again…

Our Review

The Rocker That Holds Me is an amazing fast read. This book will take you on a whirlwind of emotions.

To say Emmie had a rough childhood is an understatement. Emmie’s mother was always drunk, high on drugs and physically abusive. No matter how messed up life gets Emmie always had an escape, and it came in the form of four teenage boys who are in a rock band.

“We are not leaving. Emmie is ours. We’re staying with her.”

Fast-forward years later and Emmie is now an adult and the guys are now famous rock stars. The roles have reversed and now Emmie is taking care of them. The band is the only true family Emmie has and she loves them like they are her brothers. That is all of them except one, because he owns a different part of her heart and she can’t stop thinking about him.

“Yes, I am in love. There is this Ember in my heart that has hold of me and won’t let got”

This book was too short. I want more. I crave more. The band is smoking hot, and Emmie tugs on your heartstrings. This book is a must read.

Review: On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

4.5 Star Review by Annie

Synopsis

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.

Our Review

“Sometimes words aren’t needed for you to know a change has come upon you.”

Wowzer! This book was deliciously amazing! Samantha Young did an incredible job writing this smoking hot love story that had just the perfect amount of twist and turns to keep you on your toes.

“In truth it’s difficult to describe a broken heart.”

One minute Jocelyn Butler is just a regular fourteen year old girl and the next minute her life as she knew it came crashing down around her. Four years later, instead of emotionally dealing with her past Jocelyn tries to escape it by moving thousands of miles away to Scotland. She puts up walls to prevent anyone from ever getting too close to her, and to help her from ever feeling that kind of pain again. That is until she met him.

“He made me care and that pissed me off.”

Braden Carmichael is a walking sex bomb; with his Scottish accent, smoking hot looks, and his charismatic personality, no women could resist him! Braden could have any women he wanted, but he desired the one girl who wanted nothing to do with him. So Braden made a proposal, no relationship no strings attached just sex. At least that was the plan.

“Babe, nice lingerie is for seducing a man. I’m already fucking seduced.”

There a just so many things to love about this book. Jocelyn’s mental dialog with herself was beyond funny! This book had the perfect amount of trumoil and just enough sexy time to get me breathing a little bit heavier.

Review: Clash (Crash #2) by Nicole Williams

5 Star Review by Dawn

Synopsis

On again, off again. Together. Apart. The only thing Jude and Lucy agree on is their all-consuming love. That, and fighting all the time . . .

Especially when it comes to reining in Jude's trigger-touch temper and overcoming the tragedy that connects Jude's and Lucy's pasts. Also not helping? Lucy's raging jealousy of the cheerleader who's attached herself to Jude in almost every way possible. With the stress of trying to hang on to her quintessential bad boy while training to be the top dancer in her class, Lucy knows something's going to give . . . soon.

How can she live without the boy she loves? How can she live with herself if she gives up on her dreams? If Lucy doesn't make the right choice, she could lose everything.

Our Review

This has been the best ride ever. Lucy's roommate, India, says it best when she says Jude Ryder is no carousel ride, but a loop de loop roller coaster at Six Flags!

In Crash, we meet Lucy and Jude their senior year in high school. In Clash, Luce and Jude are in college. They are still two broken soul mates trying to be together despite their demons. Nicole Williams really turns up the heat in Clash. I was constantly rooting for Jude and Luce, despite all the garbage that is thrown in their way. Sometimes, they just cannot get out of their own way and it gets so angsty. The larger than life Jude Ryder explodes onto the football scene at Syracuse and this makes him even more of a superhero. There is something about Jude Ryder that is right up there with Travis Maddox (from Beautiful Disaster) and Jack Carter (from The Perfect Game). Lucy describes it when she says, "I inhaled the boy who, even in scent, exuded a hint of trouble just barely masked by a reluctant sweetness."

This book is just the kind of sweet torture that I enjoy in a book. Lucy is every bit as feisty as Jude and this makes for quite a bit of "Clashing." The intensity of the relationship and the life lessons these two learn about love and trust are why I love reading Young Adult. It is all so raw, and life or death. I did not think it was possible, but I loved the writing, the characters (especially their back story), and the plot even better than Crash! Again, Jude Ryder does it for me every time. Lucy says it best: "For a certified bad-boy jock, you've got one hell of a way with words."

Review: Crash by Nicole Williams

5 Star Review by Dawn

Synopsis

Southpointe High is the last place Lucy wanted to wind up her senior year of school. Right up until she stumbles into Jude Ryder, a guy whose name has become its own verb, and synonymous with trouble. He's got a rap sheet that runs longer than a senior thesis, has had his name sighed, shouted, and cursed by more women than Lucy dares to ask, and lives at the local boys home where disturbed seems to be the status quo for the residents. Lucy had a stable at best, quirky at worst, upbringing. She lives for wearing the satin down on her ballet shoes, has her sights set on Juilliard, and has been careful to keep trouble out of her life. Up until now.

Jude's everything she needs to stay away from if she wants to separate her past from her future. Staying away, she's about to find out, is the only thing she's incapable of.

For Lucy Larson and Jude Ryder, love's about to become the thing that tears them apart
.

Our Review

I have not been so excited about a Young Adult book since Hopeless. I went crazy over Crash by Nicole Williams. The character Lucy and Jude were so real, I alternated between wanting to hold them and shake some sense into them.
The story was completely captivating and just when I was adjusting to the first twist, then came the next and the next!! I was practically reading with my jaw dropped to the floor! The surprises just kept coming and coming and the writing is so well done. Nicole captures the complete and total angst that is reserved for being a new girl in high school your senior year. The journeys that these characters take are so epic, I felt like I was holding my breath for half the book, the other half, I was completely mooning over bad boy Jude Ryder. Trust me, Jude Ryder is not to be missed. I am now reading book 2 in the series, Clash, and the stakes have just been raised tenfold (if that is even possible)!

Review: Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire

5 Star Review by Dawn

   Synopsis

Finally, the highly anticipated follow-up to the New York
Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Can you love someone too much?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. But just when he thinks he is invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it’s time to see the story through Travis’s eyes
.

Our Review

When Beautiful Disaster ended, I was a wreck. I just needed more Abby and Travis. More America. More Shepley. Thank goodness Jamie McGuire understood the longing that took root in her fans, and gave us the best darn male POV I have read to date.

If you can make it through the gut wrenching Prologue, you will make it through the book. Walking Disaster was flawlessly executed. Jamie took scenes from Beautiful Disaster and filtered them throughTravis's point of view in such a way that you understood the struggle  and reasoning behind his every thought and action. This is no small feat, since let's face it, Travis is a hot headed, impetuous guy on his best day. Yet, when I read why he did what he did (even why he brought two girls home to his house when he was clearly falling for Pidge) I GOT IT (I know, I can't believe it either). I was able to really understand what it was about Abby, and Abby alone, that he needed. The privates scenes between Travis and his father made me mist up more than a few times.

I always wondered why Abby did not leave the casino and go to a different one when her ex-boyfriend showed up. Walking Disaster cleared that up for me. Lingering questions were answered, new scenes were added to add new depth to an already great story. Jamie seems to "get" the male point of view in a way that boggles my mind.

I felt so much during this read. Jamie is a master at sucking you right back into college, no matter what age you are.

The only reason I even got through all the emotions that swirled around me during this read is I kept telling myself, "You KNOW how it ends! Put your big girl panties on and finish...." The best part, was I DIDN'T know how it ended because the Epilogue blew me away. It was just the best; a cherry on top of my Travis Maddox sundae. If you loved Beautiful Disaster, you will love Walking Disaster more.

Review and Playlist: Rock My Bed by Michelle A. Valentine

4 Star Review by Heather

Everything always seems to fall into place for twenty-four year-old Aubrey Jenson, except for when it comes to her luck with men. Bad boys always draw her in and crush her heart, and Black Falcon’s lead guitarist, Riff, is no exception. After sharing a few wild nights together, she leaves him behind, knowing a guy like Riff isn’t the relationship type, merely just a play thing.

When she returns to New York, she tries to get the passion she felt in Riff’s arms out of her head by dating Isaac, a successful representative at Center Stage Marketing. Just when she thinks she’s forgotten Riff, she’s forced to see him again when her best friend, Lanie, ropes her into being a bridesmaid for her upcoming wedding to Black Falcon front man, Noel.

Sparks fly instantly between Aubrey and Riff when they’re forced to reunite, and suddenly she finds herself caught between the man that’s good for her and the one who completely rocks her in every way.

Riff is the lead bassist in the band. He is a man whore who gives gold tickets to women that he wants to sleep with. The minute he lays eyes on Aubrey he wants her. I absolutely loved this book. I loved how we still got to be with Noel and Lanie also. Another well written book Michelle Valentine!!!

Review: Rock the Heart by Michelle A. Valentine

4 Star Review by Heather

For the last four years, good girl Lane has regretted breaking up with Noel Falcon. She thought she was sensible when she told him his dreams of being a rock star would get him nowhere, but now that he's a rock god and her career is stagnant, she realizes just how wrong she was. When Noel hires the marketing company where Lane is an intern, she’s forced to see him again. If she wants to land her dream job as executive within the company, she has to win him over and secure his account. Too bad Noel is still pissed at her for breaking his heart.

When Lane’s company flies her to a Black Falcon concert to gain Noel’s attention, emotions run high the moment she sees him and realizes she’s far from over him. But Noel’s countless trysts with groupies and his cocky attitude make Lane believe he isn’t the same guy she once loved—now he seems to only want her body. Then after Lane discloses she needs him to procure a job, Noel proves he’s a changed man by forcing her to go on the road with him in order to get it.

After Lane reluctantly takes Noel up on his offer, she becomes willing to do whatever it takes to keep him satisfied, even if it means succumbing to his seductive ways. Lane soon finds deception is a dangerous game and she’s not the only one playing.

I love me a hot rock star! Noel Falcon is amazing. I couldn't put this book down once I started reading.

Now you know what it's like to want something you can't have.” - Noel

Lanie is focused on her career. She wants to be in marketing and be the best there is. Then she accepts the job of going to Texas and talking to Noel about his charity benefit. She doesn't know how he will respond to seeing her after the way she left him four years ago. She is in for one crazy roller coaster ride.

Fuck the kissing only rule, Lane. I need you. Be with me, please.” - Noel

Noel Falcon is a hot rock star. He is a playboy. He has never forgotten his first love Lanie. That is why when he sees her again he will do anything to keep her in his life. Even manipulate her employer to get her to be with him. He has his secrets that he doesn't want her to know because he is afraid he will lose her. Do these secrets tear them apart? Is the love strong enough for her to trust him?

I don't get where he gets off thinking he should be able to have his cake and eat it too because news flash, this cake store is fucking closed.”

This book was amazing. I love when it feel like I am right there with the characters in the book. Well done Michelle Valentine!!!!!

Review and Playlist: Twisted Perfection by Abbi Glines

5 Star Review by Annie

Life outside of her house was a new experience for Della Sloane. The dark secrets of her past weren’t something she ever intended to share with anyone. They would never understand. No one would ever get close enough to find out. There was always a chance she’d go crazy sooner than they expected…

Woods Kerrington had never been one to be attracted to fragile females. They seemed like too much work. He wasn’t in it for the work just the pleasure. A night full of naughty fun had been exactly what was on his mind when he’d laid eyes on the hot little number that didn’t know how to pump gas and needed some help.

What he didn’t know was she was as fragile as they came.
The carefree girl who spoke her mind and didn’t care what the world thought of her was more breakable than he could ever imagine…

This book was AMAZING, but if you have read any of Abbi Glines books before this would probably come as no surprise. This book starts off with a bang, and within the first couple pages there is one of the sexiest scenes I have read in a long time. Abbi Glines once again strikes gold and makes me fall a little bit more in love with the characters in her books.

“Sometimes our imperfections are what makes us special.”

Della has never had the chance to fully experience life, due to her riddled past that is full of dark secrets and permanent emotional scars. Della decides to take a long road trip and just drift from place to place to help her discover who she is and what she wants to be.

Woods decides to come to the rescue of the sexy girl who is trying to figure out how to pump gas. He thought a one night stand with a total stranger is just what he needed to help him forget all his problems. He thought he would just wake up the next morning and forget all about her. He thought wrong.
Woods totally took me by surprise. We were first introduced to him in Fallen Too Far, and I just thought he was the cute country club owner’s son and a friend of Rush’s. I was completely wrong. Woods is a certified sex god, and WOW am I in love. I don’t think I will never be able to get enough Woods. He is official my top boy toy!

There is a cliffhanger at the end, but it is nothing that will make you go absolutely crazy. Simple Perfection is the next book, and I cannot wait to read it. I am anxious to find out what happens to Woods and Delia.

This book is part of the Too Far series, but it could be a stand alone book. I feel it is more of a spinoff rather than a continuation story. With that being said you should still read the others, because they are equally AMAZING!

Review: Lover Undercover by Samanthe Beck

3.5 Star Review by Heather

He’s undercover. She’s in over her head. Yoga instructor Kylie Roberts is the good twin. At least she was—until an accident forces Kylie to step into her twin’s sexy stilettos at a posh Hollywood “men’s club." But nothing could've prepared Kylie for the dead body in the club’s parking lot or the ridiculously hot detective who insists the killer is targeting her regulars. Detective Trevor McCade needs Kylie’s help to draw out the killer. It means long nights undercover and long dances where Kylie’s body tempts him with sensual promises. Dances that leave them both wanting more. But despite Kylie's hidden identity and the danger lurking in the shadows, it’s only a matter of time before Kylie and Trevor take this undercover operation under the covers…

Kylie Roberts lets her twin sister Stacy talk her into posing as her while she recovers from a broken leg. Ususally this isn't an issue except for the fact her sister works as a dancer at a gentlemans club. Stacy doesn't want to lose her job and Kylie knows they need the money. Her first night on the job she discovers a dead body and meets the SEXY detective Trevor McCade.

Trevor McCade is working undercover to solve the murder of two guys who frequently went to Dueces and like private dances by Stacy. While working undercover he begins to form a connection with Stacy/Kylie. He knows she is hiding something, but doesn't know what. Will their love survive being built on a lie?

I liked this book. You might need a change of panties when you are done reading it. I think that it didn't really touch enough on finding the killer. Needed more attention focused on that. I am also hoping for a book on Stacy and Ian! Great book Samanthe Beck!!!
