~ Synopsis ~
Carmyn Rafferty witnessed the aftermath of her mother's affair. She learned at a young age not to trust anyone. Especially not your spouse. So she's planned. She's planned every detail of her life: who her husband will be, what their careers will be, what their lives will be like. All to avoid the pain of infidelity.
Dallas Brown lives a life all his own. He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, and he doesn't live up to anyone's expectations but his own.
When Carmyn's fiancé cheats on her, it sends her into a whirlwind of one-night stands with the most infamous player on campus. She can't seem to stay away from this tough guy and his dangerous motorcycle. Everything about him is the complete opposite of who she'd planned to fall in love with: tattoos, dark stubble along his jawline, and hair that brushes his shoulders.
As Dallas and Carmyn begin to fall deeper and deeper into each other, they learn that love can truly be a wicked, wicked thing.

Carmyn is happy in her planned relationship with Becker. They are engaged to be engaged. They plan on finishing college together, and then get engaged. She soon discovers that he is a lying cheating dirtbag. She always held back with her heart because of her childhood. She trusted Becker and he threw it out the window. So when her best friend Ava tells her to live a little and have a one night stand with the campus man whore, Dallas, she throws caution out the window and does. The one thing she didn't expect was for him too start having feelings for her. She tries to hide her feelings, because if they aren't in a relationship he can't break her heart. Can she open up to Dallas? Or will she push him back into his manwhoring ways?
Dallas doesn't do relationships. He fucks woman and never goes back for seconds. He lets them know the score up front to prevent the destruction woman cause. When he finds out Carmyn is no longer with loser boy, Becker, he tries to hook up with her. He is actually surprised that once isn't enough for him and he wants more. Can he work through his issues and be with just one woman? Can he break down her walls?
This book is full of heartache. Both Carmyn and Dallas have issues that need worked out. Can they work together and help each other or will they have to do it by themselves?
This book is a must read and I cannot wait for Denton's book. I really hope he ends with Ava and if not that she gets her own book.
Angeline is a Scorpio living in the Rocky Mountains with her husband and dogs. She loves all things paranormal, believes ghosts are real, werewolves aren't, and vampires? Definitely real! At least in the Vampire Born world they are. She is currently at work on her first New Adult Romance, Wicked Thing, which releases September 2013.
