Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she’s been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it’s boring…and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.
Then Nico walks into Elle’s office and everything changes…for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

~ Our Review ~
5 Star Review by Natalie
Elle is a lawyer at a small time firm, Milstock and Rowe where they have quite an eclectic group there. Her boyfriend William works for his father’s firm that is well established and caters to the elite advertising industry. Although Elle is very happy where she is, William is always trying to sway her to work for his firm. She has the perfect job, perfect man, perfect body and is very intelligent. She should be happy right?
The following day she gets a visit by Nico and she asks if there is something wrong. Nico walks closer to her and tells her that he forgot to ask her to dinner. She is very unsure, but wants to so bad. She thinks heck, her and William aren’t going anywhere so why waste time. She has a past that no one knows about, except her best friend. Later that evening she figures out where she knows him from, the one and only cage fight she has ever been to. Her father was a police officer and on his off nights he worked security for the MMA events. Her father gave her some free tickets and she brought her little brother. At that fight Nico won in the second round with a TKO, but she saw that the opponent wasn’t getting up. She looked to Nico at that moment and Nico was devastated and you could tell right then that he was broken.
Nico picked her up that next evening and they had a great time but things happened and now she knew she had to make a decision. Elle thinks now this will be one more person she has to share her horrible past with and she just isn't ready yet.
