This book draws you in from the beginning. It leaves you wanting more. Sad that it is a cliffy and now I have to wait for more.
Carrie just wants to go away to college and live a normal life. With her dad being a senator she always has a bodyguard and can't do anything without being followed or watched. She is questioning the intentions of the hot guy, Finn when he starts showing an interest in her. Is he working for her father or does he really like her? Will she open her heart and trust him or will she be leery of him?
Finn is hired by the senator to watch his daughter, Carrie while she is across the country going to school. He finds her attractive so he knows he needs to stay away from her, because he is not allowed to touch her. He tries to push her away, but it becomes too much. Will his lies push her away or will she understand why he lied?
This book was really good. I enjoyed following their story and at times I felt for these characters. I felt bad for the things Carrie had to deal with from her father. This book is a definite must read. I cannot wait till 2014 when book 2 comes out. Hopefully we can get an early release!!!!
