~ Synopsis ~
Alayna Withers has only had one kind of relationship: the obsessive, crazy stalker kind. Now that Hudson Pierce has let her into his heart, she’s determined to stay away from her past tendencies and develop their love into more than just amazing sex. At least Hudson is as dedicated to her as she is to him, though she could do without his new found jealousy and need to control everything. To complicate matters, Hudson has his own baggage including a penchant for mind games and a hateful alcoholic mother who’s set on destroying any happiness he might find with Alayna.
Needing insight, Alayna turns to an unlikely source—Celia Werner. Celia’s been in love with Hudson herself and knows how to ride the rocky waves of the emotionally closed-off man. Wow. I was really looking forward to this book, but I had a hard time getting into it. It seemed slow in places.
Alayna is still trying to make sure she doesn't go back to her stalker ways. She knows she loves Hudson, but doesn't want to scare him away. She also focuses on work and proving to everyone she can put her MBA to good use, even if it is working at a nightclub. She ends up getting promoted to Event and Promotions Manager at the night club she works for. So, she sets out to make her dreams a reality. She runs into some issues and is afraid to tell Hudson. She thinks she is protecting him. Can Hudson and her have a really relationship with all the lies? Will they find happiness after everything is laid out in the open?
Hudson has finally decided he wants to be with Alayna for real. No more faking it for his mother. He wants her and he is willing to do anything to get her and keep her. He still doesn't want to come clean to her about his past and all the terrible things he did. He is afraid she won't be able to love him after she finds out. Will he let he all the way in?
Hudson reminded me of Mr. Lord of the Manor Jesse Ward. So if you liked that series I believe you will love these books. This is part of a series. I am thinking trilogy since their will be a book three coming out soon. I really really enjoyed book one Fixed on You. I would recommend that you read book one and then give Found in You a shot!
