Another amazing read in the Gloves Off series.  I love these books.  Some of my favorite reads.

Camden is on the run from Scar.  Even though Scar is in prison he has people hunting dow Camden.  He is finally hitting his rock bottom and wants to be back home.  He's tired of running.  But once he runs into Brooklyn he wants to know her.  He has never been one to chase woman, but there is something about her that makes him want to know her.  Can he finally let himself be happy?  Or does he think he isn't redeemable?

Brooklyn doesn't like Camden when she first starts trailing him.  She doesn't like the person he was, but once she's following him for awhile she sees a different side to him.  She wasn't supposed to meet him, but plans change and once she does she doesn't know how she's going to stay away.  Can she show him he is worthy of love?  Or will she lose him?

This book was really well written.  Camden has a lot to deal with and work through.  I didn't really like him in Ryley's book, but he started to really grow on me in Gabby and Pax book. I really liked how he developed as a character.  I cannot wait for the last book on this series.  I am intrigued to see where she takes Kyle's book.

I don't know how she does it, but LP Dover has managed to capture my attention and continues to give readers another amazing story. Camden's Redemption is the next book in her Gloves Off series.

This is about Camden who has a very dark past. He used to be part of an underground fighting club called the Dark Side. He was jealous of his brother and destroyed their relationship. Now he's in the run because he turned the leader of the Dark Side over to the authorities and helped bring down the fighting ring.

Brooklyn is the undercover agent who is watching him from afar. That is until her boss insists she get to know Camden better and show him around town. But Brooklyn has a past of her own. Will they be able to become friends? If so, at what cost?

This story has a whole lot of forgiveness, love, and a little bit of heart pounding betrayal. I can't say enough good things about the entire series. I have loved each and every story and I can say that each one is unique in it's own way. Once I started this book I couldn't walk away from it and I can't wait to see what's next.

~ Excerpt ~

Pressing his forehead to mine, he closed his eyes and squeezed them tight. “How can you love me?” he asked, his voice gruff. “I do fucked up things that hurt the people closest to me. I can’t promise you that’ll change.”
“No, but you can promise me you’ll try. That’s good enough for me.”
His heated gaze landed on mine, his breaths deep and raspy. The raw energy radiating from him made me tremble in anticipation. “You just fucked up, buttercup,” he growled low. Lifting me in his arms, he carried me off the dock and laid me down on the grass, his body hard on top of mine.
“Why is that?” I whispered. He pushed his cock against me and I moaned, desperately aching to feel him inside me.
“You have awakened something I never knew existed. It rips at my soul and scares the fuck out of me, yet it also makes me feel alive. I don’t want to let it go. I don’t want to let you go.” Lowering his head, he kissed my cheek and trailed his lips down to my neck.
“What are you saying?” I asked.
He brushed his thumb across my lips and lifted his head. “I don’t know if what I feel is love. I’ve never had it before. But goddamn, it sure does feel like it. Whatever happens between us, I can’t let it end. Tell me you don’t want it to.”

I moaned as he lifted my tank top and bra and tossed them to the ground. “I want us to be together, Camden. We don’t know what’s going to happen once everything’s over, but I can promise you my love will not change . . . even when you go back home.”
