I pivot on my heel to see Lucca leaning against my door frame with a smirk spread across his face. He causes the strangest feeling inside of me when he looks at me; I hate it and like it all at the same time. I really don’t have time for this distraction in my life.

“I have no idea what my dear friend is talking about,” I say, acting aloof. “She’s desperately trying to make my life exciting, and unfortunately, that’s just not happening.”

Holy sh** batman this book was HOT.  This book deals with three people trying to make a relationship work.  All the battles they have to deal with. It's an amazing story of love, friendship and opening yourself up to rush being hurt or finding love.

Mary is trying to make a relationship work with Zeke and Jeff.  Well it was all suppose to be fun until one night changed everything.  All it takes is an accident to change everyone's way of thinking.  Mary has lost two loves before in a polyamory relationship.  She is scared to admit her feelings because she can't lose Zeke or Jeff.  Can she keep them both?  Or will she have to pick one?

Zeke has never wanted a relationship, but he is finding it difficult to just play with Mary and Jeff.  He wants to have a relationship, but is scared that they don't feel the same way and just want to keep it fun.  He is also scared to tell his family because he knows they won't approve.  He has a lot to overcome to make this relationship work.  Will he try and make this work? Or will he let what others think be enough to not follow his heart?

Jeff has a lot of issues he hides from everyone.  He is the therapist that helps everyone deal with there problems so he is good at hiding his.  He wants to let Zeke and Mary in, but he is afraid to get hurt.  Will he open up to then before it's too late?

This is am amazing story.  I love all the men in the Isthmus Alliance books and I cannot wait to read more about them and their lives.

I was not expecting to like this book after I started it.  I had to put it down and walk away and start it again.
This book is truly an amazing book.  It shows you that people can change when they want to.  There is redemption out there to be had, but it is going to take work to get it.

Eden has been living in a loveless marriage for five years.  She is abused and let's it continue.  She got herself into this position so she has to make it work.  She is tired of being treated as arm candy and a whore.  She wants a really marriage and a family.  She will never have a family if Dominic has his way.  He never wants kids.
What does Eden do?  Can she grow a backbone and stand up for herself?

Dominic has a need for power and control.  He controls everything in all aspects of his life. He doesn't care how it effects them as long as it benefits him.  But sometimes it takes losing something you want to make you see what you had all along.  He wants Eden more than he knows, but he may have ruined any chance with the way he treated her the last 5yrs of marriage.  Will he change?  Will he have a life for a love with Eden?  Or will he always be the monster he is?

This is an amazing 5 star read!  I definitely recommend this book.  You may hate it to start, but don't give up on it.  This was an emotional story.  Full of hate, betrayal, love and redemption.
